San Carlos Park is a small community nestled between Fort Myers, Florida and Estero, Florida in Lee County. A quiet neighborhood surrounded by preserve areas, at the center of San Carlos is an 18-hole golf course. The San Carlos Golf Club is a semi-private facility offering year round play. One of the oldest clubs in Fort Myers, it was developed in 1971 by the community and later purchased by local area golfers. Rates are affordable and play is challenging. There is an eight lane, heated community pool run by Lee County Parks and Recreation which features a shade area, pool slide, aerobic classes and a Learn to Swim Instructor on staff. Additional amenities at this center include sun deck and playground. An inline skate rink is also at this center that holds adult and youth hockey leagues.
